Be Encouraged

Most people I know and speak with every day have really good intentions. They care about their family and neighborhood. They throw away trash and pick up litter that gets left behind. I am proud to say many of them are friends and acquaintances. They desire to become the best version of themselves with God’s help.

Others, I have met over the years were a bit slower to make serious changes in their life. Procrastination sometimes resulted in undesirable habits and severe consequences for unwise decisions. Today, whichever group you are relating to most it’s ok to not be ok. Just don’t stay that way. God is a good good Father and He has an agenda for all of us:  learn to change for the better.

This weekend at Journey Church our current series, FREE taken from Galatians in the Bible describes 3 dead-on Jesus steps for necessary change too happen. This message will help everyone grab a few take-aways for putting into practice. Maybe you are ready to exercise and eat more healthy. This Bible message can inspire that kind of relevant change for anyone.

If you are a person who likes personal challenges and always up for new things, one word of caution. Grab a friend who can encourage you to stay focused until reaching your goals. If you go to the gym take along a positive pal. We can be fast starters and begin to fade unless we have an encourager and friend.

Jesus wants us to thrive in our life and grow. This can be a glorious thing when real change begins to happen. We lose the needed weight for better health. We begin to sleep more consistently, getting to bed sooner, feeling more rested from busy life. Our moods, energy, and attitude begin to change. We begin living a new and better lifestyle.

If you’ve been a person that has put things off a bit, this message and outline for the weekend will give you a little boost to get started, now. Are you ready to rehab your work and play schedule a little? Would you be willing to try to realign some things which are heavy loads to carry?

Jesus wants us to experience freedom to serve, share, and care even more. Join us this weekend at Journey Community Christian Church as we discuss redefining our successes in life. Smile more, laugh more, and enjoy people more. Never give up learning to make serious changes in your lifestyle and hurried life. No one is hopeless.

God will help us be the do-stuff… good-stuff…. kinda person. Bring a seat buddy and share a few words to encourage and be encouraged.

Go God.
